PRESS RELEASE

The 27th of June marks the anniversary of the terrorist action of bombing the Iranian Islamic Republic Party's office building by Mojahedin Khalgh Organization. Is it believable that on the anniversary of one of the most horrible terrorist attacks that was organized in 1981 by Mojahedin Khalgh Organization and resulted in sudden death of tens of politicians, members of Parliament and the then Head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a huge explosion, one of the European Union members has struck the name of the Organization off the Terrorist Organizations List and lifted the ban from its hitherto blocked assets?

Being witness of the official recognition of a terrorist organization by a member of European Union, as the supporter of human rights, is a real source of concern. Within the recent three decades the terrorist organization committed horrifying and inhuman crimes against the Iranian and Iraqi people, in particular Kurds. Shall we accept the fact that a dangerous terrorist organization just by changing its name can simply attend the European Parliament and other EU institutions and thus mock off the European Union?

Applying double standards used in human rights and their instrumental abuse in order to achieve political goals disgrace human rights and dignity of mankind.
